Bay Window Treatments

Without curtain rods, you will not be able to keep your curtains up. They will sit there like a heap of laundry in front of your bay window. A good curtain rod will also be able to support the weight of the curtain that sits in front of the bay window.

It should be noted that you cannot use a simple curtain rod with a bay window. The reason is that bay windows are not in a straight line. They are like half a hexagon, which means that you need a curtain rod that bends in two places to allow you to have a curtain that go across. Another alternative for a bay window curtain rod is two small rods and one longer one, each with their own specially-sized curtains.

As you can see, choosing bay window treatments, like curtains, is not so simple. You also need to think about the curtain rods that will keep those beautiful curtains up and make them look great to those inside the house and outside it.
